The title of this petition is a twitter hashtag created by fans of the television show Supernatural after one fan was banned from attending a convention organised by Creation Entertainment. If you feel Emily Rose was unfairly treated, please sign this petition so that we can show Creation Entertainment how much damage they have done to us all. It is hoped that they will lift the ban on Emily once they have realised they punished an innocent fan and make things right so that we all feel safe to attend their conventions in the future

To be clear, she was not just banned from ONE convention. She was given a lifetime ban on ALL conventions ran by Creation without ANYONE doing ANY investigation into the false claims reported by unreliable sources.

Mind boggling that Creation would claim that they act on "viable threats that have been vetted" when the 10+ day old tweet put forward as grounds for her ejection and subsequent ban contains no direct threat to anyone at the convention, and is plainly sarcasm (both on its own and when considered in context of the entire twitter conversation it occurred in - a conversation which Creation and security personnel have subsequently had days to review). If a non-threatening tweet can be manipulated in this way against one con attendee (one with a press pass who had no security incidents before this summary ejection no less), it can happen to any Creation con attendee. Not just unjust in this particular case, but should be generally troubling to any potential Creation consumer.

I have a hard time with the idea that the person alleged to be a security threat was then let go to roam freely (if they chose) just as long as it wasn't in any convention areas. Letting that sink in, a person deemed a threat to someone else, was essentially made someone else's issue. How could any attendee feel safe if this kind of 'protocol' is fine. It's hard to see it as kind of SWATTING (just with guest security teams).

It's a disgrace this happened to such a good influence in the SPN fandom. Emily has actively tried to expose cyberbullies and now Clif has let the bullies win.

I believe that Emily Rose was treated unfairly and that Creation Entertainment should, issue a formal apology, lift the ban on Emily Rose from their conventions, and review their policies on lifetime bans and the way they investigate allegations against other con attendees.

Agreed, one of my friends were wanting to go to a convention and I sent her a link of this story and she said we'd find something better to do, instead of go somewhere what a women was treated so wrongly. If they don't see where they've done convention goers wrong, Especially Miss. Emily, then Creation Entertainment conventions will not be on my to-do list any time soon.
