Let them be themselves that is what sixth form is all about. Give them a dress code if you give your staff one too!!!

For decades 6th formers have been known to be the one's in "normal clothing" so why fix something that isn't broken? These young adults should be trusted to wear the clothes they choose. Give them the freedom as it's part of growing up., obviously if they turn up in inappropriate clothing then send them home, but jesns and t-shirt are smart enough in most people's eyes!

Totally agree they need to express their personality’s and not be restricted by dress code at this age

I agree. Sixth form is supposed to be preparing them for university, where they can wear whatever they want! Don't see the relevance of the strict smart dress code.

Not everyone can afford to be buying new clothes for their child when their current ones are perfectly acceptable
