To The Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare / The Chairman, Medical Services Recruitment Board / The Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu Subject: Request for Early Allotment and Appointment of Selected MRB Assistant Surgeon Candidates Respected Sir/Madam, We, the undersigned candidates selected through the Assistant Surgeon recruitment conducted by the Medical Services Recruitment Board, humbly submit this petition requesting the Government to complete the seat allotment and appointment process at the earliest possible time. The recruitment process has already progressed through examination, certificate verification, and provisional selection stages. However, the delay in allotment and appointment is causing uncertainty and hardship to many selected candidates. Most of us are awaiting posting orders to begin serving in government hospitals and public healthcare institutions across Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu’s healthcare system continues to require adequate medical manpower, especially in Government Hospitals, Primary Health Centres, and rural healthcare facilities. Early appointment of Assistant Surgeons will greatly strengthen public health services and benefit the people of the state. Therefore, we respectfully request the Government and concerned authorities to: Expedite the allotment process for MRB Assistant Surgeon selected candidates. Release appointment/posting orders without further delay. Fill all sanctioned vacancies to avoid shortage of doctors in government institutions. Ensure transparency and timely communication regarding further procedures. We sincerely hope the Government will consider our request sympathetically and take necessary action at the earliest. Respected Sir, We, the 751 provisionally selected Assistant Surgeons (General) under PSL No. 06/MRB/2026, humbly submit this request regarding the pending issuance of appointment and posting orders. As per MRB Notification No. 17/MRB/2025 dated 21.11.2025, Certificate Verification was conducted on 25.02.2026 and 26.02.2026, and the Provisional Selection List was published on 11.03.2026, selecting 1,071 candidates for appointment in Tamil Nadu Medical Service. Among them, 320 candidates received appointment and posting orders before the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct and have already joined duty. However, the remaining 751 provisionally selected candidates are still awaiting appointment and posting orders. Since the Model Code of Conduct has now ceased, we most respectfully request the authorities concerned to kindly issue the appointment and posting orders for the remaining 751 Assistant Surgeons (General) at the earliest. We shall be grateful for your kind consideration and prompt action in this regard. Thanking you.

We need the postings as soon as possible. As the director have assured us the maximum time will be May 15. Which is almost near. We can't wait for this hard earned postings long day. Please consider our request and appointment us before may 15.
