I feel strongly concerned with the health of American coral reefs. I think this is something that all Americans should know about to prevent further destruction of these beautiful reefs.

Living in a tropical coastal area I am very aware that this is an issue that needs immediate attention.

Corals are vital to the ocean ecosystems, and without them many migratory species that fisherman rely on will be gone. Additionally, the increase in ocean water temperatures is largely caused by industrialized nations, yet the consequences are primarily being felt by local communities that rely on these reefs in the Southern Hemisphere. Economically, biologically, and cultural the key to saving these reefs lies in limiting Carbon Emissions. Please make a global commitment to our planet.
