Our children need somewhere safe to run around and play in fresh air and in the company of others. Please give priority to the provision of this vital resource.

Unacceptable- and 'end of summer' is clearly too late and vague. There is no sense in this. Name me a village with a population of 2,500+ without a playpark...

How can this be that a brand new state of the art Community Centre makes no provision for its youngest members of its community please reinstate the play park ASAP

This is disgusting abuse of the parish council and just goes to show how they put profits ahead of the future generation. This was in the original plan and residents are paying for something that was promised but not delivered. The council should be I investigated for fraud and it's at times like this I wish we were in the early centuries so that we can issue some community justice.

I echo the words of everyone else who want the park, I thought this was part of the original plan?

My children have been asking when the park is going to be built and have been waiting so long. With me working full time and my husband being at home with no car in the week and weekends he cant even take them out in the village as there is no where or nothing for them to do. How much longer do we have to wait???

When the old playground was closed prior to demolition of the hall, the children were promised, or at least led to expect that the wait would be as short as possible until they had a new play area. It is important! It is also a great way to get parents in - coffees; ice creams - footfall!

even though the beeches looks great, its a real dissapointment that the children's play area was the last thing to be thought of. Shouldn't there had been some thought for the kids in the village rather then just thinking about how to accommodate all the sports? this village isn't all about football or cricket.

Parks are so important for young children's social interaction and health, please give the children a space to play.

The play park is an essential part of the village !! I can't understand why it wasn't given more priority in the first place ...

Not much of a community centre when the council are not providing for the community! We paid for the centre and yet they the council still haven't provided what they promised

The old play park was in poor condition yet still regularly used. We've waited so long for the new park and been completely misled. It's families who paid for the community centre through our council tax. The least you could have been is honest with us.
