Island Kids is an integral and valued asset to Roosevelt Island families. We urge RIOC/Hudson-Related to assist them in securing a larger, permanent location that will enable them to continue to provide the quality, affordable enrichment programming that has been their hallmark. A larger space would allow them to guarantee the availability of their Summer Camp. It would allow them to expand their offerings to include after-school programs for children under the age of 6, for whom no current options are available. And it would further the ultimate goal of Island Kids towards becoming a Family Center, offering a variety of services to both children & their parents/guardians.
