We care about animals and love them too and our religion advises this to be the best method for the sacrificed animal and the consumer.

By definition a Halal product should be a Halaal product, the consumer shouldn't be conned in believing the product is halaal just for a small profit. It is our right to choose to purchase a halaal product and this right should be protected by law.

Halal meat should be protected in the same way Kosher meat is, as both processes are EXACTLY the same.

If the Jewish faith can slaughter meat legally without stunning then any religion should be able to.

I am a British citizen and I have a right to express my religion and have protection of my beliefs also. This is not a right which is selective, dependant upon religions so protect Muslim halal rights in the same manner as Jewish koshar rights have been protected.

stunning shouldn't be used at all for halal slaughtering , as it contradictory to the meaning of halal.
