Our basic human and religious right is being undermined. Why should our basic, yet important, freedom to choose how our meat should be slaughtered. Under Islamic law, a number of criteria should be followed. If adhered correctly, this would equate to a humane way of slaughtering animals. Stunning does not mean the animals cannot feel what is happening. If anything, I would consider stunning to be inhumane...Stop playing the nanny state!

Eating of halal meat is a healthy practice as this process of cutting the animal would let the blood of the animals out of their body and prevent the consumers of many ailments , it is therefore to be viewed as scientifically proven healthy way more than religious in interest of all
