Every child has a right to be protected from sexual abuse and exploitation, including prostitution and pornography.

As a parent and community worker i can not keep silent nor forget the trauma our children are being put through by those who need to care for them. I take a strong stand against abuse.

The men who lead us must prove that they have the interests of the powerless at heart. Whether this child is over sixteen is not an issue; the issue is that her future, her young life, has been altered forever. She could not have stopped it. To a child, a can of coke, a free ride in a luxury car and some airtime are enough to entice her, and men know this, and exploit it to the full. Please do not prey on children's ignorance and innocence. Be the adult and stop the rot.
