We need to realise a country where children are allowed to grow as children. Free of trauma, free of abuse.

#We Shall Not Forget: Many a girl child have suffered at the hands of paedophiles. I think the picture is bigger than what we see i.e. it goes beyond just having unconsented sex with a minor but also affects the girl/boy child in the short and long term including life long psycho-social trauma, permanent destruction of reproductive system since these men rely on abortion to clean their acts. This practice is usually done by people parents and families trust; it happens in both poor and wealthy households (mainly uncles both maternal and paternal). There are historical abuses which also WE SHOULD NOT FORGET!!! I call for a TRUTH and REONCILIATION FORUM because WE (Abused/Victims) - the GIRL CHILD want to talk to our perpertrators to get more understanding of why they did what they did; why they continue to do it and final take responsibility for their actions. We are starting to forget; FEDELIS MOLAO must go: He is supposed to be the Protector of those children; He was guilty on TV last night. This is an insult to the intellect of Batswana - to have paedophiles addressing us on National Television; He is a conspirator to 'go nyeletsa' ngwana; knowns about an abortion that was done on an underage child which actually involved incest - HE IS NO GOOD.

The trauma and humiliation girls and women have to endure, brought about by such experiences as the Sebina case, have far reaching negative impact on not just the one directly affected but on all of us women, men, boys and girls. We have to stand together to vanquish the fear and self doubt brought on by such shameless selfish acts.

1)Government to show us that it is taking the mater seriously by punishing perpetrators.
2) Laws to be updated to take into account Child's Act.
3)The child's mothers comments are concrete proof that women and girl child are disadvantaged in the country.
