Is this really London?

I am embarrassed to bring clients to the building we work in due to the smell of the drains. There should be parking permits for businesses that work on the road. The road is also never cleaned and disgusting.

we run a day service for adults with learning disabilities here, the environment outside has become unacceptable, it is unhygenic and immoral, there are rats and mice running around all the time. the parking has become extremely difficult for organisations like us that have disabled vehicles for our service users. the drains and gutters need attention as there is always puddles on the road when it has rained. it is just fortunate we are moving our premises from dock road. London borough of Newham need to act fast. for the sake of other business users

This action is a long time coming LBN are not maintaining the area and has been completely neglected. The roads and drains are not maintained causing huge puddles. Parking is a constant problem with businesses showing no respect for one and other. Vermin are an on going problem with litter and bins overflowing. Not a good environment to work in or invite professionals to your business.

All the Construction Company's that moved from Carpenters Rd in Stratford, E15 for the start of Olympic Village to Dock Rd, did not make any sense what so ever. The whole of this area now is residential, how could they think that the dust generated by the speeding lorries and their company's is good for human health? We have to pay our business rates still there's no parking space. A couple of times I got PCN charge for £100. The road is very bad , despite the fact that we are between Canary Wharf and City Airport. I noticed that the traffic wardens often patrol Dock Rd more often now because they know that they will find a victim to issue their fines. All the construction company's on Dock Rd should be moved to a bigger space and parking space provided for local businesses, and the road cleaned to reflect a health business environment.

The drains don't function, trucks double park and the road is covered in rubbish.

The road is a state we have thought about moving offices because of it. its like something from the past. didn't even know roads this bad existed.

There are problems with the drainage with water not drained properly. The drains need to be maintained. The road needs cleaning on a very regular basis and parking restrictions should be introduced to avoid excessive congestion.

I don't drive to work but I used to walk it from West Silvertown station to my offices. I had to change my walking route because walking down this road was depressing. In the mornings I would feel my moral and the drive to come into work drained out of me. I got splashed so many times from lorries. The smell is another thing and the giant rats!! I decided to start walking via Royal Victoria. It meant changing DLR at Canning Town but it was either that or a trip to the job centre.

The whole of Dock road is filthy. Your vehicle gets covered in dust, dirty water and rubbish in minutes, one simply cannot keep their vehicle clean parking on Dock road. There is always an issue with finding a parking space, most of the businesses on Dock road utilize the pavement and parking space for their own purposes. Road is not being cleaned for weeks despite calls to Newham council.

Free parking premit should be issued to small businesses on this road. Also get rid of dust problem. There is no point to have my car washed as it will get dirty in could of hours when I park outside of my office building.

The road is an absolute mess and needs to be cleared properly.

Yes there is a big concern over this road for parking our cars and condition of road really need some attention.

The state of this road is deplorable. At the end of the day "if you do get a space to park", you go home with a muddy vehicle because the road is full of potholes and the lorries speed pass leaving your vehicle covered in mud. This road definitely needs fixing, it's long overdue.

The road is dreadful some days i cant even find a parking space. when you do your care gets absolutely filthy. The road smells as well its horrible to be honest. Some days we cant even open our office windows because of the smell.

This road definitely needs a well deserved attention. Its so close to the city but in a terrible state. The parking situation is worse then ever.
