I know that if you don't pay the IRS on time for taxes that you owe them, you will be charged interest. This year, the IRS is not processing tax RETURNS on time because of claiming to be behind because of last years government shutdown. I believe that everyone that this effects should be then owed INTEREST on the money that they are holding that is rightly OURS. I filed my taxes on Jan 18, 2014, and was notified that it wouldn't even be processed until at least the 31st. The IRS charges interest that is compounded daily, so I will know how much I am owed after they release my deposit to the bank. GET WHAT WE DESERVE!
