While my water is not as bad as many places in the city, it does stain the sink, tub and leaves a ring in the dog bowl. Is it safe? I often wonder.

These water problems have gotten out of hand; the fact that these issues keep coming up and go unresolved for so long is unacceptable in this day and age.

I've lived in Ironwood since 2003...I've had to purchase bottled water ever since to avoid feeling sick from drinking the city water. My animals and plant also have to use bottled water. Sad our town doesn't care about the quality of the water or the negative effect it has on its community. Our monthly water bill is ridiculous for water that isn't suitable for anyone (or my animals and plants)

We understand dirty water when hydrants are flushed but not on a weekly basis.. And the cost is way to high

Clean water does not mean just clear. Sometimes The "clear" water has so many chemicals in it that it takes your breath away when you turn it on; heaven help you if you are in the shower - it burns tho it isn't hot. This problem needs to be addressed.

Per the newspaper (6/12) Hurley has asked Ironwood for a little guidance on what's wrong with the water and the article doesn't say that they really even get a response - no big surprise there! Our rates in Hurley are going up & water quality gone downhill in the past 3 weeks. There does seem to be something suspicious going on that City of Ironwood is so determined NOT to ever answer point blank questions or address the public via their FB page or website regarding the problems people bring to their attention. Sticking their collective heads in the sand seems to always be the answer.

I do not use the water for cooking or drinking. I do not buy white clothes as you cannot keep them white with Ironwood’s water. I scrub my toilets daily as the stains from the water are streaked down the porcelain. With the price of water in this town I would think it would be drinkable

I've been saying our water is gross for YEARS and even brought a bottle of it straight out of my facet to the city building! And of course was just given excuses as to why it looked and smelled like swamp water!

The cost goes up further with the purchase of water for drinking for yourself and your pets. After several bad experiences I check the water before washing clothes. Using Iron Out should not become routine.

We deserve drinkable water, not brown water.
