Ironwood Water Customers Deserve Usable Water

There is no excuse for Ironwood not having clean water.

It's just me and two little people living in my house. The water bill is always over $120 + a 90-day filter only lasting 30 days or less. Not to mention the $350 deposit made 8 years ago just to turn water on then seeing the brown liquid filling the tub is ridiculous

maybe if they would hire a plow driver that doesnt rip out the curbs, so all the silt doesnt run down the drains maybe the water quality will get better.

Love coming up to our vacation home and having dirty water. The city council should fix the water before they worry about the bike trails.

Quality is terrible and cost is beyond criminal.

At least once a month I have dirty, filthy water. It is not because of my plumbing, because it is only 12 years old, and it is not from the line coming into the house, because that is only 12 years old. I have lived here all my life and have never seen such disgusting drinking water in my life. The City of Ironwood needs to do something about it!

Fix it!

I liver there only in the winter and there was a full Week I couldn’t wash clothes. It happened often to different degrees. Yellow to brown. Sorry I won’t drink it or give it to my animals. I’d like to see the people saying it’s ok to sit down in front of me and drink a tall glass.

I came from California 4 years ago. Never had water issues other then hard water. In Ironwood, at first the water turned brown twice a year. I thought it was due to maintenance to the lines from the city. Then it started happening every other month just about. I talked to a plummer and he said he'd have to rip up the lines behind the walls and replace all the pipes to find the issue. No way. I'd have to sell and move. I could never afford that. Now I find that it's a major break down of the Ironwood water system and not me at all. I won't drink the water I have to pay for even with the most expensive water filter on the facet there is. I won't even let my pets drink it. With Flint in mind, I won't risk it. This is ruining my pipes and Ironwood will be sued if I find they are the cause of pipe erosion. Everyone deserves clean drinking water and we pay for rust at a high cost to our health and budget.

How many people in iron range have parkinson's tremors...have hair analysis for heavy metals ..proved my husband is severely manganese toxic..look on Purdue University website for Dr Wei Zheng's study on manganese induced Parkinsonism ..its in our water I had it tested at a lab.

Water is terrible! Lived there for over 2 years with 3 kids, trying to do raise them on water that was unusable half the time. Water bill was also through the roof for poor quality water.

The worse place to live.

Why do we pay over $100/mo. for undrinkable water?

Ironwood needs clean and AFFORDABLE water. 50% over the national average for undrinkable water. Ridiculous!!

They are robbing the people. For making them pay for water they can't drink. Plus they don't think of the damage it causes when dirt sits in the pipes and water heaters. The deposits make me sick way to much money ..The town seems to not listen to the people..
