Ryanair finally folded and added the Irish language option to their website. This victory proves they cannot ignore our language or our numbers any longer. Keep checking that the toggle works correctly because we will not let them walk this back.

Final supporters
There are several language options to book your flight on the Ryanair website. Theres a large number of Irish language speakers in Ireland and worldwide that would like to have the option to book their flights through Irish. Irish is also the first official language of Ireland and one of the 24 official and working languages of the European Union. As an Irish airline there should be an option for people to be able to book flights on the Ryanair website to cater for Irish speakers from the Gaeltacht and throughout the country and beyond that uses Irish as their preferred language. We ask Ryanair to have an option for Irish (Gaeilge) on their website along with English as the two official languages of the country.

Ryanair continues to ignore our language while hiding behind profits and pathetic excuses. The sheer momentum behind this push proves they cannot keep shutting us out of their own platform.

Éilím ar Ryanair go minic agus is mór an trua é nach bhfuil rogha Ghaeilge ar fáil. Bíonn orm an Fhraincis a roghnú.
If Ryan can go 'several' languages , they can go one more especially if hat one is Irish.
As an Irish person who speaks Irish it is important for me that I should be able to use Irish in as many aspects of life as possible - including booking flights.

The ryanair website does not accept the 'accent/síne fada' in my name. Or if it does the boarding pass reader does not recognize the ' accent/síne fada ' in my name . I experienced this in Stanstead.
