We should have state funded Dog shelters, the fact the animal rights is so under supported in this country is disgraceful!

Do please change your policy to that of re-homing, five days is never enough time to give a dog a chance.

Give dogs the best chance at life. The only reasons for putting a dog down should be ill health or if a dog is too vicious to re home.

Pounds should be shelters with employees paid to save and find homes for Dogs NOT paid to kill them. Lobby for change

This is such a cruel outcome for both the animal and the heartbroken owners, people need a chance to try to find their lost pets. I think there should be a way of registering the owners details at the time of getting the animal's microchip.. That way there would be far less dogs destroyed for no reason other than running out of time!!
