According to the Intoxicating Liquor Act in Ireland, publicans are being forbade to sell alcohol to its citizens on Good Friday and Christmas Day. Due to the high number of alcohol related problems in our society, the cost this has on our state and the unhealthy relationship we have with alcohol, This petition supports keeping both Christmas Day and Good Friday days were alcohol can not be sold in Ireland.

Keep it as it is. We have enough drinking problems in this country without letting every pub open on holidays too.
