Ireland's current Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, was Minister for Finance during the years leading up to the financial meltdown. He and his colleagues are in large measure responsible for the financial woes affecting Ireland, terabyte unemployment and emigration and untold billions of euros being rocketed into the black holes of zombie banks. The people of Ireland who are to be taxed to death in order to pay for years of financial terrorism by developers and bankers demand to be allowed to vote on the fitness of Brian Cowen's political party to govern. The people of Ireland should have the right to a general election at this critical juncture when decisions are being made that will affect generations of Irish people. Please sign this petition so that the people of Ireland may exercise their democratic right to decide who should be trusted to rule in this time of economic emergency.
