It does make a lot of sense to postpone the date of July 1, 2022 to a more reasonable date in function of the timeline of courses/exams/results AND licensing. Seeing the actual regular licensing delays to several months between passing the EPE and finally being able to exercise the profession is an indication on how shortsighted was the decision to give a cut-off date of July 1st, for this additional license. RCICs are already fighting on several fronts against fake and rogue consultants for blatantly misleading clients and for them to have to fight this additional burden of losing more clients because of this extra step "in the spirit" of being the model RCIC, the controlled RCICs and to enhance the profession is a disservice to the profession in terms of timeline. Despite being the RCICs regulatory body, The College should partner with RCICs to combat the fake and rogue consultants and win!!! Not by only tightening control on them, but by giving them the breathing space to learn, grow and exercise accordingly. We are not the rogues and the fakes. We are the ones working hard and spending considerable money to achieve the right status. Therefore devising a realistic timeline according to internal resources and desired results, would be a more appropriate thing to do. Trusting that you will postpone the July 1st, 2022 date to a more realistic one in terms of licensing at least 1,000 consultants every 3 months out of the 8,000 that we are presently, would be great. Thank you

This is an "access to justice" issue for our clients and it is not in their best interests to deprive them of the representatives they have already retained and come to trust.

No it isn't good for our reputations. We should be respectful before CICC and other stakeholders. Please do not share with the public.

Why only RCICs to sign? Can’t we make this petition public so that our clients (and well wishers) could also sign and comment?

It is really a big setback to an RCIC reputation when you suddenly cancels a retainer telling we are not authorized or incompetent. The clients with PRO BONO retainers will be effected the most.

Very tough times, recovering financially from two COVID years which impacted our lives and business. Selecting the cohort was beyond my control, finishing my cohort on 1-july 2022 and selecting when take the exam is beyond my control. Then, some people will be likened and I will not be because they were able to finish the courses earlier than me. That is not fair. Note, my first follow up email on my registration was October 2021.

This deadline will have to be postponed. There are not enough resources from the college to have enough exam sessions to have enough licencee by 01 July 2022.
