Petition the Iraq Ministry of Health to release war casualty numbers

We ask the Iraq Ministry of Health to report the number of lives lost in the war in Iraq. We ask the Iraq Ministry of Health to regularly publish casualty numbers on the Iraq Ministry of Health\'s website or regularly release casualty numbers to a mainstream news organisation for publication. We suggest casualty numbers be released to the Iraq News Agency, Associated Press, BBC and Reuters. We ask the Iraq Ministry of Health to release details to the public showing casualty numbers including age, gender and, where possible, the districts of people who have lost their lives. We ask that the civilian lives lost in this war in Iraq be accounted for. We the undersigned think that all human lives are equal and that when we count the human cost of this war we look at all lives lost. American news agencies represent the deaths of American and Coalition soldiers. The numbers of US and Coalition casualties are published by CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties). MSNBC.com publishes the number of US soldiers killed in Iraq (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3359080). We think that we should honor all lives lost in this war and more importantly represent those who are paying the price even though they are not fighting in the war. We ask that civilian casualties be represented in mainstream news publications.
