Protest against the violence and inhumane attack against the Iranian demonstrators in connection with the recent elections in Iran. We Iranian Swedes working in health care in Sweden want to show our contempt against the revolutionary guard and the Basij Militias for violence against the Iranian people. The violence from the Iranian authorities continues systematically by: 1. Injured protesters are denied the medical attention they need. 2. The doctors who help the injured are forced to reveal the identity of their patients and type of their injuries. 3. Basij militia is waiting for the injured demonstrators leaving hospitals to arrest them. 4. So far, there have been no clear statistics on the number of deaths and the cause of mortality. 5. By making the humanitarian medical efforts complicated and difficult, the Iranian regime makes it impossible for health professionals to give appropriate care and maintain medical ethics. By signing this petition we want to firstly show our support for the Iranian people and secondly request that the role of the Iranian health care professionals should be respected.
