Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

Iranians worldwide are very apprehensive about their sisters and brothers, the Iranian refugees in your country.

These brave Iranian men and women came to your country to seek asylum from the tyranny of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to a country they believed to be the champion of Democracy and Human Rights. 

Instead of granting them asylum, your government has forced them into a hunger strike while they are fearfully waiting to be sent back to the outlaw regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran.  We do understand that this is due to your close political and economic ties with the brutal regime of the IRI.  You should recognize that these many lives are in grave danger should they be sent back to Iran.  They will all either be tortured, hanged, or stoned to death for seeking asylum from your country.

Please know that the world is watching the Greek government and its people. The lives of these freedom seekers, striving for basic Human Rights in Iran are in your hands!

We plead to you to grant asylum to these refugees! Or at least, provide them with sufficient time to obtain their visas from other countries that will listen to their cries, give them safe haven, and hopefully grant them asylum as any “True Believer of Humanity” would do!
