WE, the undersigned, respectfully petition our elected representatives to vote the Iran Deal up or down under the terms of the "Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015" (as well as any attempted veto override) - BY SECRET BALLOT.

The Secret Ballot is the fundamental instrumentality of democracy. What choice does one make when one is answerable only to one's own conscience and best informed opinion? Not influenced by the frenzied cries of one's fellows; or their blandishments or their threats.

The question before the People is of such great moment and the debate surrounding it has become so heated and emotional as to drive cold and reasoned consideration into the shadows.

Proponents speak from a world of wishful thinking; unsupported by experience. Opponents speak from fear; presuming the worst possible outcome. Where does Truth, where does Best Policy; reside?

Let each Representative and Senator speak their piece to the People; giving their best reasoned arguments either for or against. Then let each confront the blank ballot; and their own conscience in solitude.
