There is No Liberty without PRIVATE property rights. There is no Liberty when a for profit company can steal private land for its own PROFIT. Where do you now stand? Liberty or PROFIT?

Natural gas as a bridge to a clean energy economy is yesterday's thinking. The world is moving away from fossil fuels and Virginia could be left with stranded assets as is happening in Europe.

Let's set renewable energy as our priority to combat climate change and stop supporting fracking and natural gas.

Please come see our beautiful, pristine, unspoiled Nelson County. We want it preserved like this.

There is NO route that does not "affect our pristine environmental areas". The only good route is no route. I urge Governor McAuliffe to read the US Forest Service's latest warning on the likelihood that the ACP would drive two globally unique species to extinction and that its impacts "must be avoided and cannot be mitigated" in the words of forest supervisor Thomas Speaks.

COME HEAR FROM THE PEOPLE . WHO OPPOSE THE PIPELINE FOR SO MANY RESASONS.

Nelson County depends on tourists and having it's natural beauty as a draw and a pipeline is not beautiful. The people living on Wintergreen mountain need safe travel to get on and off the mountain and the pipeline will trap them on the mountain to burn to death when this huge pipeline ruptures.

Please go to Nelson and see what is really at stake in the path of the ACP. Tom Farrell sold you the Brooklyn Bridge. There is no precedent for putting in a 42 inch pipeline across this rugged terrain. If Dominion stood aside and let distributed solar grow, we could really talk about a new Virginia economy.

The pipeline is literally running through our three-year-old "dream" home. There us no room on our ridge for the pipeline to go around our home.

This pipeline would be within 1/4 mile of my home on two sides, and my son's future schools. I am concerned about my family's safety and our water supply during the construction and operation of this behemoth pipeline project (which is completely unnecessary and could instead be an investment in something safe and renewable for our future generations). Thank you.

I get my water from a well, and the pipeline will directly impact the source of my drinking water. Stop this thing now!

To have 96% of this 550+ mile long pipeline going through private property, national forest and public land is despicable and a clear evidence that Dominion has not made even the slightest effort to collocate the pipeline within existing utility corridors. Here in Nelson, we do NOT want this pipeline. No amount of money from Dominion can make us give up our land, lifestyle and dreams. Stand with us not with Dominion.

This pipeline project is a shameless violation of the property rights of Virginians.

This pipeline will only benefit Dominion. I own land in close proximation to the route and will receive nothing from the pipeline but lower property value, environmental damage and the destruction of the peace, quiet, and the permanent disruption of the pristine landscape views here in Nelson Co.

A 42-inch pipeline, with accompanying construction of servicing stations, clearings, and potential for accidents can NOT be environmentally friendly. Pumps will intrude on the tranquility of our thriving agricultural and tourism economy. Threatened wildlife and plants will not be able to cross the huge swath of cleared land, even as climate change makes their movement necessary to survival. And investing in infrastructure that furthers our dependence on carbon-based resources is foolish and irresponsible to future generations.
