Your Honor, I am an investor with Bryant United Capital Funding, Inc. (BUCF)

BUCF, aka Thurman Bryant III (Trey), distributed my monthly earnings disbursement without fail each and every month as per our contract. Disbursements abruptly ended once the government shut down BUCF operations and seized all assets.

I never experienced anything other than open and continuous contact with BUCF until the courts ordered him not to make contact with his investor group. This caused confusion for all of us and ended in Trey losing his freedom trying to remain in contact with us.

The only charge the government could come up with was one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud... A charge the Congressional Research Service reported to committees of Congress as having long provided prosecutors with a means by which to salvage a modest, but dubious, victory from investigations that essentially proved unfruitful.

The court appointed receiver has been disappointing at best....intimidating, not returning calls or not providing candid answers to our most basic questions and concerns. I become outraged reading the receiver's quarterly payment requests while just recently receiving pennies on each dollar...or nothing at all.

A recent GAO Report to Congress found that, at the end of fiscal year 2016, $110 Billion in mandated restitution was outstanding. $100 Billion of that was considered uncollectible and suspended collection actions...primarily because of length incarcerations resulting in the offender having no, or only a nominal, ability to pay the debt. I do not want my investment losses to add to this total.

Continued incarceration of Trey will not further justice in the minds of investors. A negotiated restitution plan and his freedom to execute the plan is in our best interest.

By signing this petition, we pray the Court will make a sentencing decision allowing for an alternative to incarceration providing investors a chance of becoming whole again.

We believe in Trey.
