This group calls for Education Secretary, Michael Gove, and his Liberal Democrat partners to re-think their disastrously short-sighted decision to hack back the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.

Our children only get one chance at school and should not have their education held back by slashing the facilities and environments which help them to learn.

Camden will be one of the worst-hit areas in the whole country. Thirteen plans for improvement and rebuilding works have been completely scrapped with a further three under review. This terrible decision will hold pupils and schools back right across Camden but will also affect hundreds of thousands of parents all over the country.

This includes Acland Burghley, Maria Fidelis, Camden School for Girls and Royal Free Hospital Children's School as well as others.

Please sign the petition calling for Michael Gove to reverse this ill-thought through decision and commit to invest properly in our schools.
