I have had 2 children attend HUS and am due to send my 3rd here, the bullying has got worse since my eldest started and I'm seriously considering applying for another school before September. Add to this the exam issue my eldest had at Harlington, where due to their error the whole year initially failed IT, I don't have a lot of confidence in them anymore! Mr Fell has a lot of issues to address and rectify or they will lose a lot of students for Sept 2017. Am shocked that the school isn't in special measures to be honest.

Harlington Upper School never has and never will do anything to benefit or help the students that attend there. All that school cares about is exam results but do not support the student to achieve them. Left 5 years ago best thing that ever happened to me

Bullied here myself leading to serious mental health complications, only about 3 years ago. School did very very little in means of support which made the consequences of my situation even greater. Made one of the toughest times of my life far tougher. Moved school in year 11 best decision I ever made.

As with other revelations regarding HUS, I don't think people know the full story so its simply unfair to conspire.
However, I think the problem is that the children coming to this school seem to be getting worse every year in terms of their conduct and academic ability. They all seem to be more concerned about what others think and would rather be 'roadmen' so therefore sacrifice manners and etiquette. Students across years 9 - 11 seem to have no respect for older students in the sixth form - I certainly did when I was in the lower school.
I have on several occasions witnessed the bullying of disabled students and I find it deeply troubling.

This has to be investigated and sorted out NOW not later.
Bullying will never stop, but it has to be investigated and those responsible be delt with firmly (expelled). I feel so sorry for any child in modern times with internet etc. The bullies can be with you 24/7, not just left at the school gates.
My godchildren will be going to this school in the future, but not if it's still in this state. Stop being so pc and out law the bullies NOW!

My daughter is due to go here in September and just this week my friend pulled her child out because of the school not taking her child's bullying seriously. I have serious concerns about sending her here now after reading this. After the recent news of the tragic case of Megan Evans, bullying needs to tackled most severely.

It's funny, because the bullies are always "troubled children" and spend their entire school days sat in a "house office". If anything is brought to attention about them bullying it is immediately dismissed and "dealt with" by the house office teachers. (Pegasus!). seen this too many times at Harlington.

Lets not forget the person who made the petition was shouting at a 15 year old girl saying she was going to go round her house and do stuff

These bullies deserve the actual punishment but the school don't care and decided to least deserve punishment.
