This is not what a humane shelter does - they are suppose to be trying to save and find homes for pets not just euthanizing and neglecting injured animals they pick up.

FSAC refuses to follow Delaware CAPA laws while receiving millions in tax payer dollars from the state. Who does this make sense to? They are killing dozens of animals every month while refusing to work with area shelters. Enough is enough, something needs to change. We have enough shelters in this state to support every homeless animal out there. Killing them out of spite is not acceptable. Not to this tax payer!

No director who flaunts their authority or abuses their power the way this one does should be retained - a thorough investigation is long overdue!

My comments are too many and too long, and go back too far to fit here. I will continue to speak out against the numerous problems that have plagued that shelter for many, many years.

The horrors of the killing at this place and the errant posts regarding dogs found, and the fact that almost every dog is listed as rescue only should have been enough to have this place investigated. Politics... looks like a "good ole boy', or some such thing is in play here! Too bad living creatures have to pay the price!!

I'm signing this petition because I am sick of FSAC killing dogs because they can. I urge everyone to sign this with their name so that if they are harrassed it is documented.

I think every dog deserves to live and a rescue should be able to save any dog.

Kevin Usilton should be a champion for the progress Delaware has made regarding its shelter animals. Instead he ias dragging us backwards. He needs to be stopped.

Delaware law requires shelters to keep a registry of rescues to help with animals that may not be considered "adoptable" and are in danger of euthanasia. For authorities to then allow a shelter to refuse to work with legitimate rescues and other shelters and euthanize animals when there are organizations willing to take them is a violation of the law in spirit if not in law. This is an oversight in the law, and the law should be enforced as intended and the "loophole" should be closed.

Personally I don't even know Mr Usilton but what I do know is what I have seen first hand on the FSAC Facebook page. He seems to find humor in taunting the concerned Delaware citizens. My option is anyone holding the position he does, should be to concerned with the wellbeing of the animals in his care, and no time for such childish behavior. He has no regard for shelter laws that were put in place to protect these animals. And until someone holds him accountable, God help the animals under his care.

The illegal activities conducted by, as well as the continued harassment of Delaware citizens by its executive director, Kevin Usilton, absolutely must be stopped.
