PETITION: Abuse of authority, dishonourable educational practices and corruption within Stellenbosch University's Faculty of Education.

Dear Professor de Villiers

Herewith, and on behalf of the B.Ed students, an urgent appeal for the immediate investigation of corruption, misconduct, collusion and dishonourable educational practices by several lecturers and the Education Faculty's Management staff.

I am writing to you to respectfully bring to your attention a nimiety of instances whereby students are unjustly assessed, their requests of guidance and feedback are denied, marks are manipulated, curricular content is irrelevant, formal grievances are not adequately acknowledged and management authorities turn blind eyes at the sight of depravity.

These assertions can be corroborated by the passionate students who signed this petition voluntarily. The purpose of this communication lends on the hope that your authority could demolish the discreditable acts of corruption that perpetuate on a daily basis which drive students into a state of indignation.

I hereby request your urgent intervention in order to salvage the remaining fragments of faith your students have in Stellenbosch University's educational practices.
