Dear TVA Board Members, I care about the environment and saving money. I urge TVA and its distributors to adopt a 1% annual energy efficiency target and to invest our money in clean energy. TVA's own study found that this target is achievable. Energy efficiency reduces energy bills, reduces pollution, conserves natural resources, and promotes green jobs. Energy efficiency also saves TVA billions of dollars. Rather than investing in retrofitting dirty, aging coal plants, invest in energy efficiency and clean energy. It's a win-win situation for everybody! We all save money and protect the environment at the same time! I hope that TVA will be more aggressive in pursuing energy efficiency. TVA, please, invest in families, not coal.
