After seeing what wee Kalen went through...and to protect all the other wee Kalens out there this country needs to bring in a law to stop the scum who do this to these beautiful animals.

There just seems to be no laws on animal welfare in Ireland, it's crazy. Animal abusers should not be able to get away with it anymore, it's disgusting

No animal should be abused by their owner. If they do they deserve to be punished severely.

Animals need better protection against animal cruelty. They need more help. Abusers should be jailed not fined or a slap on the wrist but jail for years not weeks. It can be done so do it.

Kalen's story need to be told. All of Ireland needs to stand up to these abusers and hold them responsible. We must pass laws to protect these defenseless animals and save them from the horrific cruelty they endure. These animals have no voice so I for one will always do what I can, however small it is to help them.

Animals are vulnerable sentient beings and need the protection of the law at these 'fairs' and elsewhere - animal neglect is cruelty and appears to be endemic particularly where money is involved - there must be ENFORCED legislation to stop it and support for the animal rescues who pick up the pieces.

No animal should ever have to go through what happened to kalen. These people should be brought to justice of this tragedy.
