The interrobang, interabang[1] ( /ɪnˈtɛrəbæŋ/), ‽ (often represented by ?! or !?), is a nonstandard punctuation mark used in various written languages and intended to combine the functions of the question mark (also called the “interrogative point”) and the exclamation mark or exclamation point (known in printers’ jargon as the “bang”). It is present in Unicode as U+203D Presently Twitter has partial support for this character in that it can be used in a tweet, however it does not appear correctly when used within a name on a Twitter profile (example: https://twitter.com/#!/interrobangM) Currently tweets featuring the interrobang do not appear correctly in TweetDeck, the character simply does not appear. It is also not possible to send a Tweet via TweetDeck using '‽'. With a normal limit of 140 characters we feel that the ability to be able to use ‽ will save valuable space, eliminating the need to resort to ?!, !?, ?!?, !?! or some other similar combinations. Finally if Twitter could also support the lesser seen gnaborretni that would be super! (U+2E18 ⸘ inverted interrobang)
