Dear Internet Service Providers

There is an apparent lack of infrastructure development in Olievenhoutbosch with the result that reliable, high speed internet (Fiber, DSL, ADSL, microwave etc.) access is generally unavailable in Olievenhoutbosch. Point in case, Telkom only recently upgrade the Olievenhoutbosch area from 3G to 4G.

Consultation with multiple Internet Service Providers indicate that none are able to offer high sped internet in the area. This lack of reliable high speed internet has forced us to take up expensive capped internet packages, which are not suitable for our purpose and our requirements.

We therefore appeal to you to invest in Olievenhoutbosch by installing high speed infrastructure equipment, such that we are not unduly prejudiced from obtaining these services at a price that is more inclusive and affordable.

We trust that you will take this petition, and the interest generated through the signatures thereto, as a signal of our intent not to be left behind in the digital divide.
