For too long, companies have been making promises to their customers that they simply did not meet. I’m a writer who also works as an editor for an international magazine. I choose to live in an isolated rural area. A change in this provision would completely change my professional and personal life - and provide me with a service I’ve long been paying for but not receiving.

So many young people and families are struggling at the moment. Internet connectivity is essential to help everyone look after their mental health as well as deal with some of the practicalities of lock down

Many young people I am currently working with struggle with internet connection and are becoming isolated and struggling with anxiety due to the uncertain times in which we find ourselves. This would help them reconnect to friends, family and the world.

Make high speed Broadband a fundamental right - for ALL. That includes the ‘privileged’ who CANNOT bloody well access high speed, efficient Internet in order to teach ALL pupils.
