This condition is not commonly known about ..... It needs to be recognised by all

I think Gilbert's is a very under rated and under diagnosed condition. It DEFINITELY is not harmless. I've been SO tired that I have felt not fit to drive my kids to school. I've spend most of my life under-functioning and it's a pain!!

I was diagnosed earlier this year. I am fatigued most day. It would be nice to have more answers. Thank you.

We need more research and support networks. I'm always tired and have been advised against allot of the foods supposed to combat Gilbert's due to IBS. So frustrating.

I have it. I understand. I wish people would stop saying " you are always tired" and the brain fog affects me strongly. Not nice being called stupid. I am highly educated and the frustration I feel is overwhelming sometimes. I hope we will be recognized soon.

Discovering I had GS 6 years ago after being seriously ill and hospitalised, at least gave me the answer to all those symptoms I had, like extreme tiredness, achy muscles etc etc. I had been investigated several times for these symptoms before but no cause! GS needs to be more recognised as a disease that can cause an individual medical and lifestyle issues.

I was just diagnosed with this at Loyola University on Tuesday. My familial history is suggestive of amylodosis in my mom, sister and myself. My sister and I get Sweets syndrome lesions. Both my sister and my mom are type 2 diabetics. My sister and I have neuropathy (hands for me), feet and hands for my sister. I am seeing a dermatologist doctor on May 9th and then infectious disease soon after in Champaign, illinois USA. I am an American missionary that travels to Brasil 5 years now. I am a Zika suspect with All, nor some of the symptoms according to the CDC'S website. Please help us!!!!
