It is a shame that I live in a town that still promotes segregation. It's 2016! Wake up!

This is disgraceful! That there even needs to be a petition for the in 2016 is absolutely shameful. Fix this now. Integrate the homecoming ballot. Then look for the next piece of systemic racism to undo.

I was voted in on. the homecoming court year 1987. Please tell me that this has changed? I can not imagine after years a school that I thought was GREAT. Would still allow something like this. If this is true, I'm highly disappointed this school districts system. Please make a difference and change for the better.

It's 2016. People need to wake up. Times have changed. Separation on the ballot is ridiculous.

This is a disgrace by the Arkadelphia schools and school board. You should be ashamed of yourselves for segregating girls and making young girls feel less than or more important than others.

This is an archaic way of choosing, and it is definitely time to re-evaluate and make change.

As an AHS alumni I definitely agree it is far past time to change this. I never understood why it was still this way when we graduated in 2001.
