Traffic Lights are long overdue on this stretch of roadway. Development continues to grow.. traffic continues to increase.. accidents continue to happen while the State Highway Administration refuses to make the necessary safety upgrades.

My daughter's best friend was killed near their several months ago, and there has been many accidents before and since her friend was killed. The government needs to install traffic lights or be accountable for all the tragedies that happen there.

How many more tragedies will it take before a sensible decision is made? Government seems to take a "stand by" view, waiting for "enough data." How much more data will be enough? The last accident was horrific with a young life lost and is a band on the long line of horrific tragedies previous. Why must this be such a dilemma? Isn't it time for common sense?

Please request more Police presence along rt. 51. There have been many close calls with speeding vehicles that I have witnessed past Oldtown, 1 involving a school bus with children on it. High speeds on this road make it very dangerous. More Police presence is requested. Thanks

I'd prefer a round about due to fire fighters having to get to the station first before getting to wrecks.

I live on the emergency route on Messick Road. I see how difficult it is to leave Messick Road.
Many accidents occur along route 51. This would also slow down the traffic as it comes into the city limits.
For safety sake, put in lights!

These intersections are not only residential but industrial and there is far to much traffic at all times due to shift work and deliveries.

I understand the concern. I biked and learned how to drive on this stretch of road. Since then, I've witnessed unconcerned drivers speeding and passing people more dangerously than then.
