We, the undersigned residents of The Sinclair, are submitting this petition to formally request the immediate installation of security cameras throughout our parking garage. Over a period of time, multiple residents — disproportionately women — have experienced deliberate and malicious damage to their vehicles while parked in the building's garage. Incidents have included broken windows, slashed tires, and foreign objects stuffed into exhaust pipes.

These are not isolated accidents. They represent a pattern of targeted, criminal behavior occurring in a space that residents rely on daily and have a reasonable expectation to be safe within. The absence of security cameras has left victims without recourse and has allowed this conduct to continue without accountability.

We understand that the parking garage may be operated by a third-party company. Nevertheless, we hold The Sinclair and Bozzuto Management responsible for the safety and security of their residents. If securing permission from the garage operator is required to install cameras, we urge The Sinclair to pursue that authorization immediately and with urgency. That coordination is a management responsibility — not a reason for delay.

We are calling on The Sinclair and Bozzuto to take the following actions:

1. Install security cameras at all entry, exit, and interior points of the parking garage as quickly as possible.

2. If third-party approval is required, initiate and complete that process immediately, and communicate a clear timeline to residents.

3. Review existing footage, if any, and cooperate fully with any law enforcement investigation into prior incidents.

4. Provide residents with a written update on the status of this safety initiative within 14 days of receiving this petition.

Our building should be a place where every resident feels safe parking their vehicle. We are asking for basic security infrastructure that is standard in residential buildings across this city. We expect The Sinclair to act with urgency and transparency on this matter.
