Lights are definitely required at this park.... there shouldn't even have to be a petition as this is a very basic requirement in a city park that is open to the public after daylight hours. More parks would be used by dog owners if there was proper lighting after sundown.

Very difficult to navigate this park when it's dark. A flashlight is mandatory during darker afternoons and evenings. Some lights would improve walking and visual conditions immensely .

this is a great idea. Especially because most people don't get off work until 5-7pm. It doesn't matter matter how cold it gets, dog lovers still want to take their pooches out!

I don't use the dog park anymore but having it lit up especially during the winter is an excellent idea.

Ai support light being put up. Maybe on a 20 minute timer like many of the tennis courts around. It would make it more appealing during winter months and even in the summertime, for shift workers etc.

Great idea! I don't feel safe going there after dark so if there were lights installed I would certainly take my dog there after dark

I am an avid dog park user and was so excited to see this proposition. I would love to see even just ONE light go up in the far end of the parking lot. It can be pretty scary when you're there alone at night. As much as she'd like to think she is, my shihtzu isn't the best protector :)
