Crosswalk lights, speed bumps, stop sign or permanent speed radars. Anything that works.

This would be useful in all crosswalks in the busy SFD/Butterfield corridor where kids and residents regularly cross on foot and bike!

Great idea, I've seen many close calls at this cross walk! Praying for the family and friends of the victim.

So sad this is after-the-fact. But more protection is obviously necessary.

I use that crosswalk every week when I bike to school with my kids, and I have always wanted blinking lights at the crosswalk

Fully support this effort to improve safety on Butterfield, which has unsafe speeding every day.

We really need this to prevent further deaths.

Safety on Butterfield should be a priority. Too many pedestrians, bikers, and children use this street on a daily basis to ignore the fact that it is unsafe. This is the very least that should be done.

This is completely tragic and requires action to avoid future similar incidents.

Butterfield has become dangerous and a
lot needs to change. Let’s start with well lit crosswalks & signage alerting drivers that a crosswalk is ahead. I also propose moving motor vehicle traffic to one side of Butterfield and bike/pedestrian traffic to the other side. With a curb installed we’d have increased safety. It would also slightly narrow the road causing ppl to slow down.

It is extremely dark at night on the majority of Butterfield Rd. Because of the recent death of a woman and her dog on Butterfield and Woodside Please install a lite crosswalk.

We live on Broadmoor Ave. in San Anselmo and have two kids who’ve traveled down Butterfield to school for over a decade by some combination of car, bus, and bike. I am well aware of the hazardous conditions for pedestrians in that corridor and would love to see a lighted cross walk at Caleta. In addition to hopefully increasing the safety of the community as a whole, it would also honor the life of the woman who so tragically lost her life there. Thank you so much for considering this!
