A teenager I know was recently hit on SFD in front of Drake HS and suffered a concussion. On San Francisco Blvd. a stunning number of drivers run the stop signs when it's dark and "nobody's around." I value the city doing everything they can for safety and traffic calming.

I spent an hour at this intersection this morning as a crossing guard. It is a VERY dangerous spot. People walking, riding bikes, scooters, strollers, and cars. There is no lighting at night. We REALLY need to make this a safe intersection.

So sad to hear. My heart goes out to the family and friends of this poor woman and fur baby. Also to the pup who is left behind with tragic memories of loosing their family. :(

I live on The Alameda. Today on my way home I saw a boy trying to cross on his bike. — two cars drove trough the intersection before he could cross.

This is long overdue. Mu husband got nearly hit a few times, when he tried to cross Butterfield Road to get to the bus stop early in the morning.
