We just moved to San Anselmo and live on Butterfield Road with our almost two year old. Butterfield Road needs speed bumps and other safety measures to make pedestrians more visible.

Please make sure something is done to make this happen

I think a stop sign would be appropriate at this intersection to slow traffic down. It would also give drivers turning off Caleta a chance to make a left turn without taking their lives in their hands.

Our community is devastated at the loss of a fellow neighbor. Butterfield Rd from beginning to end needs to be evaluated by the appropriate people: City, Police, Traffic Supervisor, Public Works. Thank you Zee, Devin and everyone that has taken an extra step to bring attention to this serious matter.

I grew up at 341 Butterfield and now reside at 345 Butterfield. I heard the accident and found Carolyn that night. I have two children to raise here. This crosswalk needs to be lit up and regulated. Thanks!

Thank you for doing this Devin. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Family who is suffering with this great loss! These lighted crosswalks have been needed for years. One by the pool is an absolute must. Signed!!

Thank you Devin for spearheading this effort...it would be great to have LEDs on all crosswalks down Butterfield.

I live in Oak Manor and tried to rally the county to do something for our neighborhood. Nothing happen I’m very disappointed in the Supervisor for our area and the public works department. I’m so sad to hear of this incident right near by where I live. All the funds available nothing is done it’s a crime.

You need to get this flashing light in ASAP before another person is killed. People drive way to fast on Butterfield.

Please make sure there is adequate lighting at this crosswalk as well.

I frequently walk Butterfield Road and it never ceases to amaze me how FAST drivers travel this road. I often feel like I am walking on Rte 101!! Not only children, but all pedestrians and other vehicles are at risk. Something needs to be done. Yes, DUI is an issue, but not all of these clueless, speeding drivers are under the influence. Also, the cross walks cannot be seen too clearly by drivers so flashing lights or orange flags would help. Pedestrians need to ensure drivers are going to stop at crosswalks. And, how many times (I stopped counting) do drivers speed down one of the hilly side streets entering Butterfield and barely yield at the stop sign?!! Clueless, lazy drivers here in Marin!

A signal light for pedestrians is greatly needed at the crosswalk, especially at night.
