We would like to get a Disc golf park set up at Fireman's park here in Johnson Creek WI. The park is perfectly set up for this, and currently does not experience high enough traffic levels to make a DGC untenable. We would also like to present some volunteers to the parks department that would agree to help setup and maintain the course.

I spent the morning walking the perimeter of the park again and I honestly keep seeing potential holes where people could throw their discs without bothering anyone (even the old trees at the north end look like perfect natural obstacles). The parks department has been slow to reply but I have a folder full of emails ready to go and I refuse to let them just ignore us now that we have so much momentum.

I honestly cannot believe how many people want to see baskets at Fireman's Park. It is wild to think that people are actually paying attention to this and I keep checking my email to see if any local officials have finally noticed the vibe shift.

I am all for this. It will bring traffic into area businesses as well as provide another means of exercise, relaxation, and fun in the community!
That sounds like fun! However I just learned what Disc golf was recently thanks to the neighbors! Great idea Christian!
Disc golf courses are one of the lowest cost improvements a city/county can ever make!!
My family and I love coming out to the area and playing disc golf adding another course would be great.
PLEASE DO THIS!!!!! I had a 9 hole course designed and approved all the way up to the City President back in 2012 or so. The City President went against the committees approvals and said disc golf shouldnt be here, we need more baseball amenities. I am HAPPY to help in anyway possible to get this installed!!

That would be great. Can’t have too many! Give kids and adults a reason to go outside and get some exercise.
