Having used this crossing on many occasions I know that on occasions I have felt as if I have been dicing wi5th death when vehicles have failed to stop even after traffic from the opposite direction have given way and I have stepped onto the carriagway

This needs to be moved further down the road towards Wrens Nest with traffic lights added. The glare and junction where it is now makes it unsafe.

A full set of traffic lights and a pelican crossing before anymore lives are lost and families devestated.

I said when crossing patrol fundinbg was cut by Oldham council that there would be councillors and officials fervently praying this did not happen on the former patrol sites and times.d times

I don't want a pelican crossing, I would prefer a full set of traffic lights covering Milnrow Rd, Salt St and Linney Lane and incorporate the crossing into that system
