This crossing has always been dangerous, being sited on a blind bend and at the junction of so many roads. This is the 21st Century. The present crossing belongs to the 20th. Install a pelican crossing before others are maimed or killed, and their families have to endure an unbearable Christmas

My 85year old mother lives nearby and uses crossing, neighbour was knocked down and killed and husband seriously injured 2011

God Bless all involved xxx Oldham Council need to act before any other accidents happen. They need to take responsibility for their lack of actions that ended in this tragic accident. Could they be accused of corporate manslaughter for not actioning upgrading of the crossing?
