Install a Pelican Crossing on Milnrow Road Shaw, in place of the Zebra Crossing

my heart goes out to the family at this sad time

It's about time to install a crossing right near nurseries and does it have to take fatalities to get the council to take note to do what should have been done earlier

Tragic / Oldham Council need to do something worthwhile for a change - disgraceful not already dealt with.

This has been needed for many years, far too many accidents happen on this stretch of road. About time something happened, just a shame its a death.

it's so sad that a young life has been lost the change to the crossing needs to happen as a matter of urgency

Something needs to be done now. This could have been avoided

I live on st James street opposite the crossing and I have two young boys I walk the long way round to avoid this crossing it is a death trap I hope now something is done.

Please please please we need better crossing facilities let's prevent this from happening again ..... Condolences to the families who have lost loved ones on this crossing xx

Please upgrade to a pelican crossing before another life is lost.

The zebra crossing and surrounding juctions need looking at. Why does it have to take several deaths for something to be done about it. Witnessed to many bumps and near misses there over the years.
