Install a Pelican Crossing on Milnrow Road Shaw, in place of the Zebra Crossing

To many junction for pedestrians to watch & drivers. It needs slightly moving & changing to a pelican crossing. They managed to get one in Norden.

Please make changes to many people are hurt and now regesterd dead. It needs to be safe ASAP

C'mon, Oldham Council..... sort it out.

To many accidents have happened at this crossing, something needs to be done.

Shaw cannot be fobbed off again. The poor child who died is in everyones thoughts and prayers .

A young girl has lost her life on this dangerous stretch of road and another young girl is in hospital seriously injured in the same accident. Oldham Concil should not even be considering putting in a pelican crossing it should just be done before more people are killed or injured. These 2 young girls were not the first to be killed or injured, something must be done now before it happens again..

How many more unnecessary deaths and accidents before something is done? Perhaps its time to stop endlessly discussing the matter and just do it instead before yet another tragedy happens.

i know the goverment needs to give more of the road taxes to britains roads not just on tarmac but on sighns crossings lights for the saftey of our young ones its not changed since the early days of the 70s 60s50s and beyond its the future now time to go forward we all was shown the high wy code in school in the 60s 70s where is it now and what does it cost to the goverment when wepay the money in road taxes to keep the road working and the oublic safe now theres more cars vans bikes hgvs and more on the roads more risk now than ever so saftey must be put in place simple as

I feel that there should be traffic lights in that area as it is a very busy road, especially busy in the morning and evening times during. the term time for the school and for people getting to and from work and only a few hundred yards away is a junction where there is a blind spot with the householders garden on the corners and that main road is used by heaby goods veichle from a company and if the council dont put traffic lights up in the area, then I dont understand why people pay tax and insurance and it is very close too 2 schools in that area not that far apart and it wouldnt do any harm to put a set of lights up as there is no traffic lights along that stretch of road from newhey all the way upto that junction just past the accident scene. so please if not already signed this petition then please do sign it

Not only should it be a pelican crossing but it also should either be relocated up the road slightly or a camera put up aswel
