This is one of the worst crossings ever.The day after this tragic accident I stopped in my car to allow a woman with a pram to cross and a van coming the other way failed to stop.this is happening all the time and urgent action is now required

For too long our so called leaders have placed finance above safety; we cannot bring back the departed and their lives should never have been placed in danger for economical reasons; for once I ask Oldham MBC to do the right thing and install the pelican lights ad a matter of urgency

My daughters have to use this crossing after school, its not safe. Tell them to cross lower down near Wrens Nest as its far safer.

That area has never been safe since Cromton Way was built. Not just a Pelica, but full-blow traffic lights on all roads.
