Install a Pelican Crossing on Milnrow Road Shaw, in place of the Zebra Crossing

I lived in shaw for only a few month and could see this is a dangerous spot... please get it sorted...

I moved away from Shaw 20 years ago and this crossing was dangerous then and has clearly got worse, Compounded by coalition cuts that have put pressure on local authorities. A zebra crossing costs a little but human life is priceless, the price increases the more youthful the victims are. Lets sort this menace!!

how many more times will Oldham council officials blame 'a lack of funds' for not making this accident blackspot safe?

This should of been sorted a long time ago and tonight's events and a young girl losing her life should never of happened !!
