Install a Pelican Crossing on Milnrow Road Shaw, in place of the Zebra Crossing

Two deaths too many at this crossing. We need a pelican criossing now

Why on earth does it take such a tragedy for anything to be done!. x

I hope this works & the council do something! ASAP!!

please please put a pelican crossing there this could've quite easily have been my child. this accident made me sick to my stomach and never want to hear of this happening again. so tragic for the young girls and their ffamilies.

I have on several occasions had a problem when using this zebra crossing. It is very perilous to use and has needed to be changed since the last terrible accident here. The council should install pedestrian lights to help avoid another fatality .

Please "NO MORE " how many do we have to lose before our council sees sense ? It's one days work to erect proper tragic lights .

It's about time Oldham Council spend money on safety issues like Pelican crossings ,instead of wasting money on none essentials ,,! Like silly mini roundabouts and traffic islands which are dangerous in themselves !!

Something needs to be done,another two lives have been lost,the council are quick to take monies from us but not will to put monies in to things like this.31 casualties on this zebra crossing which have resulted in a few fatalities.it makes me so angry! My thoughts go out to all the families rest in peace xxx
